Yes, girls do get a "boys' disorder"….

Many people believe that ASD is a "boys' disorder" that girls do not suffer from or, if they do, they do so only "mildly."   Rest assured, females are every bit as capable of exhibiting the same symptoms associated with many stages of ASD as males.

Day 1, or rather, day 60

Since nobody seems interested in my side of the story, I have decided to publish it far and wide on the internet, where, if nothing else, it will annoy, embarrass, and remind those who caused this situation to NEVER ASSUME or base one's beliefs on a person's current behavior on past circumstances. While sometimes past experiences can bear this line of reasoning out, this was NOT one of those times, and all your actions have done is serve to damage my reputation both personally and professionally on the job and in the field. The purpose of this blog, besides to vent my spleen, which has been held in check against my will for the past two months, is to try and set the record straight, to educate the public on the dangers of medication interactions and adjustments and their effects, and to hopefully promote a more tolerant attitude toward such occurrences in the future, so that events like the ones which happened this spring will never happen again to ANYONE, much less to me. If you don't like what I have to say, then you are free not to read it and to continue to live your lives with your head in the proverbial bureaucratic sand where, in my opinion, it probably belongs. For such people, I have no time to waste.
